How do I get a quote?
My vehicle wears tyres unevenly and/or doesn’t handle very well. Can you fix it?
The short answer is yes, however there are numerous factors that affect tyre wear & handling, & misalignment of axles is one of them. Vehicles in Australia certainly take a beating in our harsh conditions, so steering & suspension component wear or damage is also a contributing factor. Kingpin & bearing movement in wheels can adversely affect our ability to accurately align your vehicle, so it’s best to eliminate these possible issues before making a booking.
So what happens if you come to a wheel alignment & you find another issue that’s affecting tyre wear & handling?
We check steering & suspension components while onsite. If there’s an issue that prevents us from performing a wheel alignment on the day, we will advise you of repairs requires and reschedule your booking for another day.
How often do I need a wheel alignment?
This is a good question, & can vary depending on the conditions in which a vehicle operates. As a rule of thumb, every 12 months is a good indication. We have several fleets who monitor their running costs very closely, & they insist on having a wheel alignment every 6 months. We do offer an annual SMS reminder service so you know when your vehicle is due.
